In 2019, Isabelle Côté and Kim Glode became the new faces of Halawa Sugaring, a brand founded in 1996. Under their leadership, the company underwent a transformation to adopt a modern and refined image while preserving the integrity of the sugar pastes.
In 2021, we expanded our product range to offer five unique sugar paste textures to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
In 2022, Miss Jen Inc. Distribution took over the distribution in North America.
Since 2024, our product range has further expanded to include skincare products: a “pre-sugaring lotion” and a “post-sugaring gel,” a signature handcrafted soap, and the “Halawa At-Home Kit,” making professional-quality sugaring accessible to everyone at home.

With qualifications as an esthetician and specialist in various hair removal techniques, Isabelle brings extensive knowledge and expertise to our team. She is a high-level trainer who has trained numerous professionals and participated in various makeup events, sharing her passion and skills with others. With 15 years of experience as a beauty salon and spa owner, Isabelle decided to dedicate herself to a new adventure with Halawa Sugaring, where she continues to inspire and lead our entire team with her love for life, the arts, and travels.
Kim Glode brings valuable expertise, and a diverse skill set to our team. With her experience as a qualified massage therapist and former owner of Halte O Spa, Kim knows many of the secrets of the beauty and wellness industry. She applies her experience in production, sales, and brand development, contributing to our ongoing success. Working alongside other estheticians has given her a deep understanding of the real needs of the top professionals in the industry. She invests valuable knowledge into creating products that meet the highest standards and are perfectly suited for estheticians looking to enhance their hair removal services
